EICR testing, remedial works, smoke alarm installation and certification for rental properties across Sidcup, DA14 and DA15. Reliable, documented and landlord-friendly — with tenant coordination included.
The Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) Regulations 2020 require private landlords to have their rental properties inspected by a qualified person at least every five years. The EICR must be provided to existing tenants within 28 days of the inspection, to new tenants before they move in, and to local authorities within seven days if requested.
Where the EICR is Unsatisfactory, landlords must carry out and complete all required remedial work within 28 days (or sooner if specified in the report). Failure to comply can result in a penalty of up to £30,000.
